Midwest Independent Film Festival Event in Chicago

Last night I attended the MIFF and watched "The Egg Timer" for the first time on a really big theater screen. The picture and sound were wonderful!!! And the audience really enjoyed watching the film. I was interviewed beforehand by Cinefile, an on line filmmaker news resource -- looking forward to seeing the interview in a few weeks.


There was a cocktail reception beforehand and a Q&A after the showing. A lot of fun and many thanks to MIFF for selecting "The Egg Timer" and inviting me to attend.

Midwest Independent Film Festival

"The Egg Timer" has been selected to show at the Midwest Independent Film Festival on March 2, 2010 in Chicago at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema.

Women's Caucus For Art Film Festival

On Friday, February 12, 2010 I attended the WCA Film Festival at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.  It was a lot of  fun, with wonderful films by women filmmakers.  The audience gave "The Egg Timer" a very warm reception.  Once again I thank the WCA for choosing "The Egg Timer" for their festival!

Wisconsin Film Festival

"The Egg Timer" is an official selection of the Wisconsin Film Festival.  I plan on attending the event and thank the festival for their consideration of our film. The film will show in April in Madison, Wisconsin.

Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival

"The Egg Timer" is an official selection of the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival.  The Festival runs from March 26 to April 1, 2010 at the Laemmles Sunset 5 in Hollywood.  I'm hoping to be able to attend.  I'm very excited to have our film shown in Los Angeles!

I am continuing the 2008 IFP Freshfilmmaker Project Diary blog that I began in November, 2008, to document the production of my short film, "The Egg Timer."

I'm very excited that the Women's Caucus for Art has chosen "The Egg Timer" to show in their 6th Annual International Video Shorts Festival. The festival will take place in Chicago on February 12, 2010. I plan on attending!!!
